Encinitas. – Joseph (Joey) Stumpf - 54 became the oldest man ever to complete the 50-hour non-stop Kokoro Camp.
This camp is a model of Hell Week just like the one Navy Seals candidates must pass.
The “Fire in the Gut Award” is given to an individual demonstrating superior dedication, leadership and perseverance by accomplishing an extraordinary deed.
The award reads "It is often the quiet and unassuming person who rises to the occasion when adversity calls. The fortitude and determination they display in the face of great physical challenge is an inspiration to their teammates and brings a sense of dread to their enemies. It is said that a 'Fire in the Gut' stokes their courage and tenacity.
The selection for this award reflects great credit upon your character in one of the most rigorous training programs in the world.
Joe will be sharing the “Fire In The Gut” lessons he learned during his Kokoro Experience at his upcoming By Referral Only workshops.
