I remember adding a photo of Sir Bobby Charlton (below) last year when Manchester United were 1 point away from wrapping up the 2011 EPL title, I had no idea of his or Manchester United's history, I'm glad I stumbled on to the movie United a couple of days ago.

I can relate to Will Ferrell's character in some ways, I owned 2 properties before my 22nd birthday, and everything that goes along with a home, furniture... inside and out, etc. From age 25 - 30 I'm now down to virtually all my belongings fitting in a standard size bedroom comfortably, a lot of letting go along the way, in many ways.

Life As A House. (Good Movie)

This movie brought back a lot of memories for me, in the months before my Dad died he had a Vergola outdoor patio built at home, once it was built it had to be painted, I'm pretty sure Dad was doing it all by himself, he didn't have a chance to complete it. Mum, my brother and myself finished it off, it's probably the way it should have been painted in the first place, a group effort, live and learn.

I watched this movie on Foxtel last night, it's a true story about the remarkable life of world champion Scottish cyclist Graeme Obree, I like this scene.

War Horse. (Good Movie)

Happy New Year, I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in 2012.

I watched this movie last night, an interesting thing happened as I was leaving the cinemas, everything was gated shut at Southland so I couldn't walk through the centre to where I always park my car, outside Myer. (I shop at Southland a fair bit, my cousin Jess works at Dick Smith, I lived with Jess' family for a few months when I first moved back to Melbourne in 2008)

There were two Fijian guys who were locked out too, as they were walking back into the cinema to exit that way I asked what the story was, they said it's all locked up and that I'd have leave through the other exit, I turned and started walking with them, Rommi and Seve.

Seve was wearing a Melbourne Storm hat, I said to him, do you go for Melbourne Storm? He said yeah, I'm just over from Fiji, going home on Monday. I said I want to play for Melbourne Storm, as I said it I pulled out my iPhone and showed them both my screensaver, Melbourne Storm logo, they both gave me a big smile and wished me good luck.
